Position Summary

As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to make your own schedule and choose the number of clients you would like to see. Most of our clients are seen at home 1 or more times per week. You can choose which areas and zip codes you are willing to accept clients in.

Responsibilities Include

  • Demonstrate competency in the areas of speech, and language disorders
  • Screen and Evaluate clients to determine the need for intervention and initiate referrals as appropriate.
  • Formulate effective treatment plans based on knowledge/skills obtained in school and through internships
  • Creativity in implementing client treatment programs that are safe, effective, and efficient.
  • Modify treatment plans according to client needs and progress, terminate treatment appropriately, and develop appropriate discharge and post-discharge plans.
  • Completes evaluations, progress notes, reassessments, and progress summaries within required time frames.

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Current Speech- Language Pathologist license in the State of Nevada
  • ASHA Certification, or Clinical Fellowship Year
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid Nevada Driver’s License and automobile insurance

Preferred Education Experience And Skills

  • A thorough knowledge of the most current issues strategies and diagnostics surrounding communication training for children with disabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate with families, medical professionals, and community members.

Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant: Per-Diem

  • Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the referring Physician
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
  • Maintain accurate patient records; recording treatment, response and progress in patient charts
  • Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
  • Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely billing records to meet state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Maintain accurate patient records; recording treatment, response and progress in patient charts.

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Graduate degree from an accredited school
  • Current Nevada license as a registered Physical Therapist
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Nevada Driver’s License and automobile insurance
